. اللهم اقسم لنا من خشيتك ما تحول به بيننا وبين معـصيتك .. ومن طاعـتك ما تبلّـغـُـنا به جنتَـك .. ومن اليقـين ما تُهـّون به عـلينا مصائبَ الدنيا .. ومتـّعـنا اللهم باسماعِـنا وأبصارِنا وقـواتـِنا ما أبقـيتنا .. واجعـلهُ الوارثَ منـّا .. واجعـل ثأرنا على من ظلمنا.. وانصُرنا على من عادانا .. ولا تجعـل مصيبـتَـنا في ديـننا .. ولا تجعـل الدنيا أكبرَ هـمِنا .. ولا مبلغَ علمِنا .. ولا اٍلى النار مصيرنا .. واجعـل الجنة هي دارنا .. ولا تُسلط عـلينا بذنوبـِنا من لايخافـُـك فينا ولا يرحمـنا .
Allahumma ihdina fi man hadait, wa ‘aafina fi man ‘aafait, wa tawallana fi man tawallait, wa baarik lana fi ma a’tait, waqina sharra ma qadait.
Oh Allah, guide us among those You have guided, and grant us health among those You have granted health to, and take us into Your care among those You have taken into care of, and bless us in what You have given, and safeguard us from the evil of what You have decreed…”
Indeed, it is You who decree, and none can overrule Your decree. And it is not humiliated whom You have befriended, nor is it honored whom You have taken as enemy, our Lord, blessed and exalted are You.
Lakal hamdu ala ma qadayt, wa lakash shukr ala ma a’tayt.
“Praise is to You for what You have decreed, and thanks are to You for what You have provided…”
Nastaghfiruka Allahumma min jamee’i adh-dhunubi wal khataaya wanatubu ilayk.
“We seek Your forgiveness, O Allah, for all our sins and mistakes, and we repent to You.”
Allahumma iqsima lana min khashyatik ma tahulu bihi baynana wa bayn ma’siyatik, wa min ta’atik ma tuballighuna bihi jannatak, wa minal yaqeeni ma tuhawwinu bihi ‘alayna masaibad dunya.
“O Allah, divide for us, from fear of You, what comes between us and your disobedience. And from obedience to You, what brings us to Your Paradise. And from certainty, what makes the troubles of this world trivial to us…”
Matta’na Allahumma bism’ina wa ab’sari na wa quwwatina ma ahyaitana, waj’alhul waritha minna, waj’al tha’rana ‘alaman dhalmna, wa unsurna ‘alaman ‘adana…
“Let our hearing, our sight and our strength be preserved until the end of our lives…”
…wala taj’al musibatana fi deenina, wala taj’alid-dunya akbara hammina, wala mablagh ilmina, wala ilan Naar masirana, waj’alil Jannah hiya daruna…
“Do not let our disaster be in our religion and do not make the world our greatest concern or the extent of our knowledge…”
… wa la tusallit ‘alayna bithunoobina man laa yakhafuka fiina wa la yarhamuna.
Dua for the Ummah
اللهُمَّ فَرِّجْ عَنْ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ

اللهم اغفر لي وارحمني واهدني وارزقني
Transliteration: Allahumma ighfir li warhamni wahdini warzuqni
Translation: “O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, and provide for me.”

اللهم لا سهل إلا ما جعلته سهلا وأنت تجعل الحزن إذا شئت سهلا
