This phrase translates to “O Allah, through Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over creation, let me live as long as life is better for me, and let me die when death is better for me.” This beautiful plea captures our total reliance on Allah’s wisdom and divine decree. We’re affirming that only Allah knows what is truly beneficial for our journey in this world and the hereafter.
