Dua For Rizq

by zOrca

Our journey today embarks on the beautiful path exploring ‘The Dua for Rizq’ (sustenance). As devout Muslims, every corner of our lives is illuminated by the Divine Light of Allah’s grace. We recognize that our sustenance, our ‘Rizq,’ is a gracious gift from our Benevolent Creator. This reverence is manifested in the ‘Dua for Rizq,’ a humble, heartfelt prayer recited in seeking Allah s.w.t’s boundless bounty in all aspects of our lives.

These Dua  echo our innate need for Allah’s s.w.t’s sustenance – a plea not only for daily bread but also for spiritual nourishment, for strength, and patience. It’s a supplication murmured in countless tongues, a testimony of our reliance on Allah swt, a symbol of our unconditional surrender to His Divine Will, our tacit acknowledgment that every single morsel we consume is a mercy from Him.

As we delve deeper into this supplication, you are invited to rekindle your connection with Allah, the Provider (Ar Razzaq); to understand and appreciate His Benevolent Providence that not only satiates our physical hunger but also fills the yearning of our souls for spiritual growth and tranquility. Let your heart embrace the words of this Dua and find comfort in its promise, as each word resonates with your faith, your hopes, your pleas, and your gratitude.

Rizq Is Not Just Money

In the circle of our spiritual discourse, let us enlighten our understanding of ‘Rizq’ and broaden our perspective beyond worldly possessions. ‘Rizq’ in Arabic, commonly translated to ‘sustenance’ or ‘provision’ in English, holds a profound and expansive significance in the Islamic faith. While it is often used to denote wealth, it is essential to realize ‘Rizq’ is not limited to financial provisions alone.

In its comprehensive scope, ‘Rizq’ encompasses all the bounties Allah s.w.t bestows upon us. This includes our health, knowledge, abilities, family, and even the very breaths we take. It refers to the blessings visible to us, as well as the unseen favors Allah s.w.t. showers upon us. It encircles the tangible nourishments that quench our physical hunger and the spiritual sustenance that satiates the yearning of our souls.

‘Rizq’ is the peaceful home where love resides, the supportive networks of friends and family, and the beauty of nature around us. It is the strength of our bodies, the intellect of our minds, the emotions in our hearts, and the spirit of our souls. Indeed, every moment of life, every beat of the heart, is a precious provision from Allah s.w.t.

Understanding ‘Rizq’ in this broader context helps us appreciate the multitude of ways Allah s.w.t sustains us and nurtures us. It reminds us of the diverse blessings we are surrounded by, each testifying to His boundless generosity. It allows us to grasp the depth of His verse in the Holy Quran, “…and He gives you all that you ask Him for…” (Ibrahim 14:34).

Let us continue to delve into this comprehensive understanding of ‘Rizq.’ As we humbly call out to our Gracious Sustainer for His provision, let’s not merely confine our supplication to worldly gains, but also seek His spiritual rations – His remembrance, His guidance, His forgiveness, and His unending mercy.

May Allah s.w.t open our hearts to acknowledge and appreciate the endless ways He provides for us, and may our lives be a living testament to His abundant and diverse ‘Rizq.’

Dua For Rizq

Dua

On the authority of Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to Mu’adh, ‘Shall I not teach you a prayer, by which, if you were to have a debt like the mountain of Uhud, Allah would take it away from you? Say, O Mu’adh,

“O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will, and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will, and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is all good. Indeed, You have power over all things. Most Merciful in this world and the Hereafter and also their Cherisher, You grant them to whom You will and You withhold from whom You will. Show mercy on me a mercy that will make me free of the mercy of anyone except You.”

Allahumma malikal mulki tu’til mulka man tasha’u, wa tanzie’ul mulk mimman tasha’u, wa tu’izzu man tasha’u, wa tudhillu man tasha’u, biyadikal khairu innaka ‘ala kulli shai’in qadeer. Rahmanud-dunya wal-akhirati wa rahimahuma, tu’uteehima man tasha’u, wa tamna’u minhuma man tasha’u, arhamni rahmatan tugninee biha ‘an rahmati man siwak.

Dua

اللَّهُمَّ لا مَانِعَ لِما أعْطَيْتَ، ولَا مُعْطِيَ لِما مَنَعْتَ، ولَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجَدِّ مِنْكَ الجَدُّ

Allahumma la mani’a lima a’tayt, wala mu’tiya lima mana’t, wala yanfa’u tha al-jaddi minka al-jadd.
Meaning, “O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold. No one who possesses wealth can benefit against You.

These prayers will help you in seeking Allah’s divine protection and guidance, fostering a closer relationship with our Creator. May your heart find the peace it yearns for and may your faith become your fortress.
