اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتَّقَى، وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى.
Allahumma inni as’aluka al-huda wat-tuqa, wal-‘afafa wal-ghina.
“O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and sufficiency.”
Dua For Guidance
اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالسَّدَادَ.
Allahumma inni as’aluka al-huda was-sadad.
“O Allah, I ask You for guidance and right conduct.”

اللهُمَّ أَسْتَهْدِيكَ لِأَرْشَدِ أَمْرِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي.
Allahumma astahdika li-arshadi amri, wa a’udhu bika min sharri nafsi.
“O Allah, I seek Your guidance to make my affairs right and seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul.”

﴿رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ﴾
Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana ba’da idh hadaytana wa hab lana min ladunka rahmah innaka antal Wahhab.
“Rabanna! Let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us. Grant us mercy from You, You are the Giver of bounties without measure.”
Dua For Setting Our Hearts on Islam
يَا مُقَلِّبَ القُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دينك.
Ya muqallibal quloob, thabbit qalbi ‘ala deenik.
“O Turner of the hearts, establish my heart upon Your religion.”

اللهُمَّ مُصَرِّفَ الْقُلُوبِ، صَرِّفُ قُلُوبَنَا إِلَى طَاعَتِك.
Allahumma musarrifal quloob, sarif quloobana ila ta’atik.
“O Allah, the Turner of hearts, turn our hearts to Your obedience.”
Dua Al-Qunoot
اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ، وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ، وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ إِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ، وَلَا يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَ، تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ.
Allahumma ihdini fi man hadayt, wa ‘afini fi man ‘afayt, wa tawallani fi man tawallayt, wa barik li fi ma a’tayt, wa qini sharra ma qadayt, innaka taqdi wa la yuqda ‘alayk, innahu la yadhillu man walayt wa la ya’izzu man ‘adayt, tabarakta rabbana wa ta’alayt.
“O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided, grant me wellbeing among those whom You have granted wellbeing, take me in charge among those whom You have taken in charge, bless me in what You have given, guard me from the evil of what You have decreed, for You do decree, and none decrees over You, he whom You support is not humiliated, and he whom You oppose is not honored, blessed are You, our Lord, and most high.”
Dua For Guidance from Quran (Surat Al-Kahf)
﴿رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّنْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا﴾.
Rabbana atina min ladunka rahmatan wahiyyin lana min amrina rashada.
“Our Lord, give us mercy from Your presence and shape for us our destiny in a right way.”
Dua Seeking Refugee
اللهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَتَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّتِكَ، لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَنْ تُضِلَّنِي، أَنْتَ الحَيُّ الَّذِي لا يَمُوتُ، وَالحِنُّ وَالْإِنْس يَمُوتُونَ.
Allahumma laka aslamtu, wabika amantu, wa’alayka tawakkaltu, wa’ilayka anabtu, wabika khasamtu. Allahumma inni a’udhu bi’izzatik, la ilaha illa anta, an tudillani. Anta al-Hayy alladhee la yamoot, wa al-jinnu wa al-insu yamootoon.
“O Allah, to You I submit, in You I believe, on You I rely, to You I turn, with Your judgment I contend. O Allah, I seek refuge in Your Power. There is no deity except You. Do not let me go astray. You are the Ever-living who does not die, while the jinn and men will all die.”
Dua For Forgiveness and Guidance
“اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الثَّبَاتَ فِي الأمر ، وَالْعَزِيمَةَ عَلَى الرُّشْدِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ ، وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ شُكْرَ نِعْمَتِكَ وَحُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ قَلْبًا سَلِيمًا ، وَلِسَانًا صَادِقًا، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا تَعْلَمُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا تَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الغيوب.
“Allahumma inni as’aluka alth-thabata fi al-amri, wal-‘azimata ‘ala ar-rushdi, wa as’aluka muwajibati rahmatika, wa ‘aza’ima maghfiratika, wa as’aluka shukra ni’matika wa husna ‘ibadatika, wa as’aluka qalban saliman, wa lisanan sadikan. Wa as’aluka min khairi ma ta’lamu, wa a’udhu bika min sharri ma ta’lamu, wa astaghfiruka lima ta’lamu, innaka anta ‘Allamu al-ghuyubi.
“O Allah, indeed I ask You for firmness in command, and determination towards guidance; I ask You for the causes of Your mercy, and the entitlements of Your forgiveness; I ask You for gratitude for Your blessings and excellence in Your worship; I ask You for a sound heart, and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the best of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the worst of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know; indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.
Istiatha From Being Led Astry
اللَّهُمَّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ، أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ، أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ، أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَيَّ.”
Allahumma a’udhu bika an adilla aw udlal, aw azilla aw uzal, aw azlima aw uzhlim, aw ajhala aw yujhal ‘alayya.”
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from leading or being led astray, from slipping or being caused to slip, from doing wrong or being wronged, and from behaving ignorantly or being treated ignorantly.”
